Social responsibility is enshrined in the core mission of QatarEnergy LNG, which states: “Be socially responsible – actively contributing to social, community and local business partnerships." Activities and initiatives that fulfill this mission are carried out under our Social Investment (SI) Programme and the Community Outreach Programme (COP). The COP is split from SI, and was specifically established in 2010 to serve those communities situated in the northern communities of Qatar. We understand that actively contributing to the community and developing partnerships with local businesses is essential to successfully engage and serve the needs of the people located near the Ras Laffan Industrial City and in the rest of Qatar.
